1. Who we are

Sentry Trader is operated by Ken Scott, an individual ("we", "us"). This policy covers the website at sentrytrader-app.com, the invite-only download service, and what the Sentry Trader app does with your data. Contact us about privacy at privacy@sentrytrader-app.com.

2. The contact form

When you use the contact form on the Support page, we collect your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message. The message is delivered to the operator's email inbox through Cloudflare Email Routing. It is not stored in a website database. The website's server logs record only the event (sent, rejected or failed), the topic, a rejection reason or an error code. They never record your name, email address, message or IP address.

3. Turnstile spam check

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Turnstile collects technical data from your browser, including your IP address, and our server passes your IP address to Cloudflare to verify the check. Cloudflare handles this data under its privacy policy and its Turnstile privacy addendum. Turnstile runs only on the Support page.

4. The invite-only download service

  • Invitation: we keep the email addresses of invited people on the download service's access list.
  • Sign-in: Cloudflare Access sends a one-time code to your email address and records the sign-in.
  • Agreement record: before a download, you agree to the Terms of Use and Risk Disclosure. We store your email address, the version you agreed to and the time, as proof of your agreement.
  • Download logs: we log which file was downloaded and when. These logs do not contain your email address in readable form.

5. Cloudflare processing

The website runs on Cloudflare. Like any website, Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details (such as the page, time and browser) to deliver pages and to protect the site from attacks and abuse.

6. Cookies

After you sign in to the download service, Cloudflare Access sets a session cookie that keeps you signed in. Turnstile may use cookies or similar storage that are strictly necessary to detect bots. We use no analytics or advertising cookies.

7. The Sentry Trader app

The app runs on your computer. There is no Sentry Trader cloud account, and the app has no Sentry Trader server. Your API keys are stored in your operating system's keychain. The app talks directly to the services you connect, using your own accounts and keys:

  • Robinhood: the app places orders in your Robinhood Agentic account, and Robinhood gives it read access to all of your Robinhood accounts.
  • Alpaca: the app requests market data.
  • OpenRouter: the app sends prompts to OpenRouter and the AI model providers it routes to. Prompts can include your positions, balances, candidate trades and market context.

Those companies handle that data under their own privacy policies. We do not receive it.

8. How we use and share data

We use the data above to manage invitations, provide downloads, keep proof of agreement to the Terms, answer your messages and protect the website from abuse. We use Cloudflare to run the website and deliver email. We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising.

9. How long we keep data

  • Contact messages: in the operator's inbox for as long as needed to answer you and follow up. Ask us and we will delete them.
  • Website server logs, including download logs: a short period, then deleted automatically by Cloudflare.
  • Invitation list: while you have access; we remove your address when access ends.
  • Agreement records: for as long as we may need proof of your agreement to the Terms, including after your access ends.
  • Cloudflare sign-in and security records: under Cloudflare's own retention.

10. Your choices and requests

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email privacy@sentrytrader-app.com or use the "Privacy request" topic on the Support page. We may keep an agreement record where we need it as proof of agreement.

11. Do Not Track

The website does not track you across other websites and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals therefore change nothing about how the site treats you.

12. California residents

This policy is posted to meet the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA). It lists the personal information we collect, who we share it with, how you can review or change it, how we respond to Do Not Track, how we announce changes, and its effective date.

13. Children

The website and the app are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

14. Security

The website uses HTTPS everywhere, and the download service is protected by sign-in. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires.

15. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we post the new version here with a new effective date.
